The Original Hall

The original Marshland Hall was built in the early 1900s, funded by the community as a place for locals to come together for recreational, educational and social purposes. After sustaining extensive earthquake damage in 2010, the original hall was deemed no longer fit for purpose and was sold - leaving a gap in the community.

The new facility is designed to be a hub of activity, that brings people together and is a place where memories are just waiting to be made.

We aim to reinvigorate our Marshland community by building a new hall that recognises our history, and creates a “new history” for future generations to enjoy just as we did.
